Kristine Pruett currently directs the Office of Technology for Teaching and Learning and handles state authorization for the university. Previously, she served as the assistant to the vice president for Strategic Initiatives, assistant to the dean in the College of Graduate and Professional Studies, and director of operations for the graduate education department. Kristine has her master’s degree in instructional technology and her doctorate of educational leadership with a concentration in higher education administration from Wilkes University. Kristine has served on various university committees over the years as well as the Wilkes University Alumni Association Board of Directors. Kristine has presented on various technology topics at the Pennsylvania Educational Technology Expo and Conference, Sungard’s (now Ellucian) annual Summit conference, and at the Online Learning Consortium Annual Conference. She is a 2007 graduate of the Leadership Wilkes-Barre Core Program and a 2014-15 alumna of the PA Educational Leadership and Policy Fellowship program.

Jason graduated from Wilkes in 2009 with dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Mathematics and Computer Science, and in 2013 with his Master of Business Administration degree with a concentration in Operations Management. He has worked at Wilkes in various roles and departments as a programmer supporting online programs and courses as a programmer since 2008, and currently works within the Office of Technology for Teaching and Learning in that capacity. Jason has presented his research at conferences, including ISTE, D2L FUSION, P4CE. He is also an adjunct professor in the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science, and speaks for the Center of Continued Learning on technology-related topics in seminars for accountants and healthcare professionals. He is also a 2014 graduate of the Leadership Wilkes-Barre Core Class.

Joseph has been an instructional designer for over nine years, mentoring with the first director and creator of the Office of Technology for Teaching and Learning at Wilkes. Before helping instructors create online courses, he worked as Lab Manager and in desktop support. His background includes degrees in computer science, psychology, and an MFA in Creative Writing.

Angela began her training and course design path at a startup software company for five years before venturing on to become an instructional designer at Wilkes in 2011.  Angela creates training tutorials, works one-on-one with instructors, and builds courses for the ever-expanding online offerings of Wilkes University.  She has also presented at various tech/education conferences (PETE&C, PACE, D2L Ignite) on the topics of accessibility in online courses, MOOC development, and course design.

Kathy earned an MS in Instructional Technology and a BA in Communication Arts (Radio/TV) and began her higher education career in Instructional Technology/Media Services. Kathy has worked with faculty in designing online, hybrid and supplemental courses. She also has experience developing a variety of workshops and online tutorials for faculty to guide them through learning an LMS and additional technology tools, including Panopto, to enhance instruction. Kathy has also been an adjunct instructor at both the Undergraduate and Graduate level. She has attended many technology and learning conferences and previously presented at Educause.
