A little bit about me: I live in Shavertown, PA which isn't too far off from here. I have switched my major a couple of times already but I'm currently studying Neuroscience & Psychology because I think it's really interesting and cool so I believe that I will ride with it the rest of the way. I am part of the class of 2020, I'm very active in the community, and I like meeting new people. I enjoy all the activities that are set up by the many clubs and organizations we have here at Wilkes which I think is something great because it shows how unique and diverse we are. This is my second year on the job (my first as the mentor coordinator) & I'm looking forward to working with all of you on making this a memorable experience!

A little bit about me: I am originally from San Diego, CA, but now I reside in the small town of Frackville, PA located in Schuylkill County. I chose Wilkes because as soon as I stepped onto campus, I fell in love and knew right away I wanted to embrace being a Colonel and share the spirit of the blue and gold! I wanted to further my academic career here at Wilkes, based on their well-recognized Nursing program and hands-on clinical experience! In the Fall of 2019, I will transition into my senior year and advance within the nursing program to further my professional development. I will be a Resident Assistant of Evans Hall, the Student Body President, and as well serve as the Orientation Coordinator. I look forward to continuing to share the school spirit and pride I have developed from my time here at Wilkes with you all and hope to help give you the best Colonel experience possible!

e-mentorA little bit about me:I am from Cedarville, which is a small town located in Cumberland County, New Jersey. When going through the college decision process, I looked at many colleges in many states but finally decided Wilkes for their fantastic Medical School acceptance rate and the tight-knit community that the University creates. When stepping on campus for the first time during a tour, I got the feeling that this would be the place that I would spend the next four years of my life. It is my goal, to help you smoothly transition into college life and to offer the advice that I wish I knew as an incoming college freshman. This upcoming year, I will be a Sophomore Biology, Pre-Med Student. In the fall of 2019, I will be a Resident Assistant in University Towers and a first-year E-mentor. In upcoming years, I hope to become even more involved on campus, possibly by becoming a Biology Teaching Assistant and by joining Student Government. When at home, I work for a technology company and in the future, I hope to become a Pediatric Oncologist.

I chose to go to Wilkes so that I can commute from home and stay close to my family, all while studying in the well-known Pharmacy program. A little bit about me: PHILLY PHILLY! Yes I am from Philadelphia. I made the decision to come to Wilkes when I visited campus the very first time. It was everything I pictured my dream school to be. The class sizes were very small and the teachers knew every student by first and last name. I was sold on the business school once I saw the basketball courts and Starbucks. This fall I will be starting my junior year as a Marketing and Management major. I am very active on campus and I hope you will be as well. I am the President of a mega council club called Wilkes University Programming Board. It's a very fun club and it looks very good on a resume. Feel free to contact me for information about Programming Board or any other clubs that may have sparked your interest. I started my own business as a freshman here at Wilkes and became a mobile DJ. The people I've met here are amazing, the opportunities that the University provides are endless. Some of the few opportunities that have been afforded to me are the Business School and the Air Force ROTC program here. JasonA little bit about me: My home is not too far away, located in Avoca, PA about a 25 min drive from campus. I chose Wilkes because of a few different reasons, but the most inspiring reason was the fact my brother attended this University the year prior. It was only after being on campus for longer than a few hours that I realized how amazing my experience will be on campus. I love large campuses, but I instantly found myself immersed in a loving, caring, full of opportunity lifestyle that Wilkes perfected over its lifespan. I will be a Junior in the Fall 2019 semester studying Biology and Neuroscience. I am very involved in all my communities, but this year I have the special opportunity to be fully immersed on campus. I understand the busy college lifestyle as I possessed three part time jobs, wrestled for the University, participated in the Scouting BSA organization as an assistant scoutmaster, and held leadership positions on campus. Along with being a first year e-mentor, I will also be a resident assistant this year. I’m thrilled to be able to engage students in more ways than one.

While at Wilkes University I have become heavily involved with the arts, a field in which I had never pictured myself. A little bit about me: I am from Harpursville, NY (Home of the famous “April the Giraffe”) located in Broome County! I chose Wilkes because of the small campus feel, the quality of the programs and the projects that have led to great new buildings and a beautiful campus. I felt a different type of feeling when I stepped on campus for the first time than I did at other big colleges. I will be a Sophomore with a Major in Political Science in the Fall 2019 semester. My goals are to help show others all the opportunities Wilkes has to offer within its small campus, ensure that each individual finds something they want to be involved in, and to be available as a guide and resource for all the things you may need while transitioning into Wilkes! On campus I am involved in Residence Hall Council (RHC), Young Americans for Liberty (YAL) and am trying to start a Turning Point USA chapter. This year is exciting for me as it will be my first year being an E-Mentor at Wilkes and I was elected to my hometown (Harpursville) board or education where I hope to make an impact by improving the quality of our education.
