Kris Cross
Kris Cross is currently on the faculty at Wilkes University where she teaches dance
in the Performing Arts Division. Kris has performed and choreographed in New York
City, Philadelphia, Washington D.C., Baltimore, both Carolinas and Ohio.
In addition to her career in concert dance, Ms. Cross has taught in public schools
as a dance specialist and has been involved with Musical Theater for many years. She
has served as Education Director for BalletMet Columbus and as an Education Consultant
for the Ohio Arts Council.
Cross holds an M.F.A. in Choreography as a Graduate Fellow from the Ohio State University
and an M.Ed. in Dance from Temple University. She has also received an Artist-in-Residence
grant from the National Endowment for the Arts.
