The program is offered in a convenient low-residency or "weekender" format.

Each project term is kicked off by a residency or "weekender" session, depending on the format choice that suits you best.

Online semesters with eight-day residencies in January and June.

Tuition

Tuition is $750 per credit plus applicable fees for MA courses; $675 plus applicable fees for MFA courses.

Tuition for 6-credit Master Class (optional postgraduate final revision project): $600, or $550 for alumni

Fees

Semester Fees:
  • University Fee - $84 per credit hour
  • Residency Fee - $150 per residency (except for fourth residency, CW 525, to which is attached the $500 one-time reader fee)
  • Housing and meals during residency is to be determined and will vary between June and January residences (usually $250-$275 per student)
One-Time Fees:
  • $35 non-refundable application fee
  • Reader Fee for Thesis during fourth residency (CW 525)- $500
  • Graduation Fee - $170 (Charged to graduating students in their last semester)
Upon acceptance, each student must pay a $250 non-refundable deposit to hold their seat in their selected residency.
