Wilkes University is an IRS approved Continuing Education (CE) provider for Other Tax Return Preparers (OTRPs) and Enrolled Agents (EAs).

According to irs.gov, the following continuing education requirements are needed for Enrolled Agents:
- 72 hours every three years.
- A minimum of 16 hours per year (two of which must be on ethics).
- If an enrolled agent opts to take an AFTR course, they will not receive credit toward their Enrolled Agent CE requirements.

Wilkes University is not currently offering self study courses, although we do hope to add them to our course offerings in the future.
Seminars are held at The Woodlands Inn & Resort, Highway 315, Wilkes-Barre. Registrations may be made by telephone, mail or fax. Payment by check or credit card (Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express) will be accepted. Attendance time must meet a minimum of 50 minutes per credit hour.
Participate from anywhere with our online webinars. Classes are broadcast live using Zoom. Polling questions or other methods of monitoring attendance are used. A minimum of 3 polling questions will be asked per CE hour throughout the program. Attendance time must meet a minimum of 50 minutes per credit hour.
Credit will be given for a seminar in the same fiscal year if the cancellation is received 24 hours prior to the seminar.
