Students may apply for financial aid during intersession and may be eligible to receive
funds through the Stafford Loan Program, the Pell Grant Program, or the PHEAA State
Grant Program. Contact Financial Aid for more information.
Please note: Funds used during intersession may affect fall/spring eligibility.
A student who withdraws from courses, or from the University, by the fourth day of
intersession will receive a refund of 50% of tuition and fees.
No refunds will be issued to students who withdraw from courses or the University after this period.
Please note: Once a student registers they will be billed the appropriate tuition charges. Students are not withdrawn from a course unless they have completed a withdrawal form, available at the the Registrar's Office, located in Capin Hall at 165 S. Franklin St., Wilkes Barre, PA 18766 or at http://www.wilkes.edu/academics/registrar/forms/.*
You may submit a signed Employer Deferment Agreement or third party payment agreement. This includes an agreement from a foreign government and must be submitted prior to start of semester. (Employer Deferment Agreement Forms are available under on the Wilkes portal on the Student Page under "My Account".)
The Colonel Corner is located on the first floor of the Henry Student Center and is open Monday through Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Colonel Corner offers school supplies and Wilkes spirit apparel, as well as textbook pickup.
Textbooks can be ordered at www.wilkes.bncollege.com. You'll pick up your online textbook order at Colonel Corner or you can have your textbooks shipped to another address.

The Eugene Shedden Farley Library
The library is an excellent resource for Wilkes University students. Visiting students need only provide proof of registration to the library staff and a temporary card will be issued.
The Eugene S. Farley Library, named in honor of the first president of Wilkes University, is located on the corner of South Franklin and West South Streets and has more than 175,000 volumes of books and bound journals, 11,000 electronic books, over 60 journals and newspaper subscriptions, 75,000 full text online journals, microforms, and instructional audio-video materials. The library holds fine collections in English and American literature, history, the sciences, mathematics, and sizable collections in other academic disciplines reflected in the University curriculum.
The library will be closed from Friday, December 24, 2021 through Sunday, January 2, 2022 and will reopen on Monday, January 3, 2022 with the following hours:
- Monday – Friday: 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Saturday & Sunday: CLOSED
