Why Earn Your AI Endorsement at Wilkes?

Approved by the Pennsylvania Department of Education, this 12-credit program provides the essential tools teachers need to plan, design and incorporate artificial intelligence into everyday learning. Upon successful completion, Pennsylvania educators can apply to add the PK-12 AI endorsement to their teaching certificate.

In the Alley School of Education, you’ll receive personalized mentorship and guidance from expert faculty who understand the importance of having practical insights you can start applying right away in your classroom. You’ll also connect with educators from other regions, giving you the opportunity to learn first-hand from others who may be facing similar challenges or opportunities in teaching and learning.

Gain Hands-On Fieldwork Experience

To earn your Pennsylvania PK-12 AI endorsement, you’ll complete 20 hours of built in field experience that ensures you complete our program with insights you can start applying immediately in your classroom.

Our program gives you the opportunity to learn from technology leaders in the field throughout your course of study. With this knowledge, many of our graduates go on to assume technology leadership roles in a variety of settings.

Meet the Growing Demand

Districts need qualified educators who understand the importance and application of new technologies. As AI increasingly becomes a part of the teaching and learning experience, you’ll be well prepared to meet the growing demand for educators who understand the practical and ethical applications of this technology.

Tuition & Aid

Tuition for graduate programs in education for the 2026-27 academic year is $588 per credit, or $1,764 per course. Deferment is available for employers who reimburse tuition and financial aid is available for those who qualify.

Careers & Outcomes

Graduates of our program achieve success as technology leaders within their districts, helping to improve curriculum or implement innovative practices into their classrooms. Outside of teaching, graduates with advanced degrees and an AI letter of endorsement can explore paths in academic publishing and assessment, helping to write and develop learning activities for students.
