Minor Pre-Dental
Graduation Year: 2024

I am a Sophomore Bio major from Ephrata, PA near Lancaster County. I graduated from Ephrata High school in 2020 and found my home here at Wilkes later that same year. The reason I chose Wilkes was because of how welcoming they were to me and how because they are such a small school they can offer a very personal approach to their students. I liked the fact that if I ever needed help from a teacher or tutor of any kind, it was always within reach. Some of my hobbies include running, hiking, going on fun adventures with my friends. I also like volunteering at home for local fundraisers to help those in need and work at my local pool and amusement park, Dutch Wonderland. I currently am minoring in pre-dental and plan to continue my education into dental school. I am very excited to be your E-Mentor and help you guys have an amazing Wilkes Experience!

I am a senior biology and bioengineering major. I live in Mountain Top, PA which is approximately 15 minutes south of our campus! I graduated from Crestwood High School in 2019. Since my junior year of high school, I’ve been taking classes here at Wilkes, which gave me the opportunity to graduate with a Master’s Degree of Science, in 4 years. Between talking to alumni and experiencing the campus early on, I knew this was the school for me. The close-knit campus community was very appealing and made it irresistible to go to any other school. The professors and academic resources here at Wilkes are top notch and made me feel appreciated immediately. This is my first year as an e-Mentor and I’m extremely excited to be involved! On campus, I’m a member of the biology club and I do research with Dr. Terzaghi. I am starting my graduate classes in the Fall of 2021 and couldn’t be happier to do it at this amazing university. Besides from E-Mentoring, I am currently involved with AFROTC and Wilkes Adventure Education. The reason of why I chose Wilkes is because of the connections and relationships that you could make with students, faculty, and staff. Wilkes offer so many events and opportunities that you can take a part of and helps you develop as a person. A couple things I like to do is go out on runs, hikes, and go disc golfing. If you have any questions, please don't be afraid to ask!

Major Pharmacy

Graduation Year: 2025

I am from Nanticoke, PA which is only 15 minutes away from campus so Wilkes was a great option for myself because it allowed me to stay close to home. I will be entering my first professional year of Pharmacy School in the fall, which I am super excited about! What ultimately led me to chose Wilkes was the small campus community and the amazing faculty. The small campus community has allowed me to make friendships and meet new people easily! I am very involved on campus in many clubs and organizations that Wilkes has to offer. I am secretary of the chemistry club, a member of the Pre-Pharmacy, Biology, and Women Empowered by Science club. I also hold work study positions as a Bio 122 TA and Gen Chem TA. Outside of Wilkes, I work part-time at my local CVS as a Pharmacy Technician. In my free time I enjoy working out and spending time with friends. I am excited for the opportunity to serve as an E-mentor and can’t wait to meet you!

Major Pharmacy

Graduation Year: 2025

I am Junior pharmacy major in my P-1 year. I am originally from a small town in upstate NY called Morris which is about 2 and a half hours away from here. I came to Wilkes because I fell in love with the feel of the campus. It was in the city and close to everything, but also felt secluded at the same time. Throughout freshman year that love just grew as I made more friends and went to all the events Wilkes had to offer. I chose pharmacy as my major because it encompassed several of my interests which were my love for helping people along with my love for chemistry. In my free time here at college I enjoy playing board games and card games with my friends, doing outdoor activities such as hiking and skiing, and going to Wilkes hosted events like casino night. On campus, I am also part of the honors program which offers many opportunities as well. This is my first year as an e-mentor and I look forward to all of the new experiences from it!

Major Pharmacy with concentration in neuroscience
Graduation Year: 2026

Hello! I am a sophomore pharmacy major with a concentration in neuroscience. I am from Troy, PA, about 2 hours northwest of Wilkes. I graduated from Troy Junior/Senior High School in 2020. The reason I chose Wilkes was because of the small, close-knit community that still provides the same opportunities of much larger universities. The benefit of a small school is that professors know everyone by name and are willing to help in any way they can. Aside from being an e-Mentor at Wilkes, I am also a part of the Honors Program, Pre-Pharmacy Club, and on the Women's Cross Country Team. My hobbies include running, going on adventures, hanging out with my friends, while also being a smoothie fanatic with my fellow e-Mentor, Maxi. Back home, I am involved with my church, as well as volunteering at blood drives, Lion's Club events, and other fundraisers. Together, I know we can have the best year ever, and I am looking forward to meeting all of you!! :)

Major Political Science
Graduation Year: 2024

I am a sophomore political science major from Sparta, New Jersey. I graduated with the class of 2020 from Sparta High School after moving from David Brearley High School in the middle of my junior year. Throughout high school I did a lot of workshops and participated in a few clubs that promoted diversity, equity and inclusivity in a classroom and work environment. I also spent a lot of time both singing and directing in numerous choirs throughout high school as well. Although Wilkes wasn't my first choice, I can definitely say that I have no regrets coming here. Being at Wilkes has allowed me to continue learning about diversity and promoting equity in a safe space and learning environment by working with the Multicultural Student Coalition as the upcoming MSC President, and has also opened doors that allow me to continue singing at school events and beyond. This would be my first year as an e-mentor and I am very excited to start working with everyone.

Aside from being busy with my academic work, I’m a member of the Pre-Pharmacy Club, I am involved with the Chamber Orchestra and now I’m happy to add E-Mentor to that list. I am a sophomore psychology major from Jersey Shore Pennsylvania, over by the Little League World Series in Williamsport, PA. I graduated from Jersey Shore Area Senior High School in 2020. I came to Wilkes not knowing what the campus was like or even the community, but it was one of the best choices I’ve made. This will be my first year as an e-Mentor but I am so excited to meet you all. Over the summer and winter I work mornings as a cashier at my local Walmart and at night I work as a waitress at a small family owned restaurant in my hometown.
