Building Bridges of Understanding
Campus Interfaith is a place where students, faculty and staff of all religious traditions can come together in order share their religious experiences and what it means to be a person of faith on a college campus in today’s world. Campus Interfaith is here to be an extension of your faith tradition while you are here at Wilkes. We are here to help, support, and explore with you new ideas, living experiences, choices and horizons. We are here to help you live up to your full potential.
Feast on Faith
Feast on Faith is an opportunity open to students, faculty, and staff to gather and discuss matters of faith, morals, and values. We will also dialog with various faith traditions about beliefs and worship, as well as how those beliefs are related to daily life. Meetings may also include: discussions on world events and culture, guest speakers, and/ or viewing pertinent films. This program is a free, open, and non-judgmental forum to express opinions and faith. A FREE meal will also be prepared and served by student volunteers.
Scoops of Spirituality
There are little bits of spirituality all around us and often times we don’t even see them! Join together with students, faculty and staff in a discussion of spirituality in popular culture, whether music, movies, television or books while enjoying an ice cream sundae!

Spiritual Meditation Labyrinth Walk
Prayer and meditation are important parts of our spiritual lives. The use of a labyrinth has been used in mediation since the middle ages. The idea is clear one’s mind completely except for one question, such as, “Where do I see my path in life going?” Or, “What is the path that God has put before me?” And then follow the stone path, mimicking the path into oneself. The labyrinth walk can be used not only for spiritual meditation, but also as a form of stress management. The Office of Campus Interfaith will offer walks several times each semester, and will have labyrinth information available.
Campus Interfaith works in conjunction with the Community Service office in serving the poor and less fortunate in the Wilkes-Barre community and beyond. For information on service opportunities or Alternative Spring Break, please stop by the Campus Interfaith or Community Service offices. Please visit!
Places of Worship
There are many houses of worship of various faiths surrounding the Wilkes University campus. There are also opportunities to become involved in those houses of worship. If you are interested, please contact the Campus Interfaith office.
