Join us for the 7th Annual Student Diversity and Leadership Conference at Wilkes University!

The conference will offer workshops centered around our theme of peace, inclusion, and equity with speakers from around the area who will share their expertise. We will also offer a resume workshop and coffee hour. A certificate of completion will be given at the end of the conference.

City of Wilkes Barre Multicultural Parade

The Multicultural Parade is a free community event and an opportunity to enjoy Wilkes-Barre's rich diversity. They will have food trucks and live performances. If you would like to walk with Wilkes, Erica Acosta for more information

Short Story reading by a Creative Writing student Reyna de Jesus Contreras. There will be a Q & A session lead after the reading by Dr. David Hicks, Director of Creative Writing.

The topic for this session is Soft Skills and How to Market Them. A collaboration with the Jenna Weiss, Internship Coordinator.

Night on the Town

Night on the Town provides students the opportunity to experience a local area restaurant. The focus is on learning the history and customs of a cultural group through food and other activities. Seating is limited, you must RSVP.

National Coming Out Day Awareness

Wilkes alum Tina Doshi will be talking about Diwali. Diwali is one of the most anticipated and widely celebrated festivals in India and across many parts of the world among Hindus.
