Class of 2024 First Destination Survey

The Bachelor’s degree recipients of the 2023-2024 academic year responded to pre and post-graduation First Destination Surveys from April, 2024 to May, 2025. Their responses were tabulated and summarized at one year post-graduation. The research and report data follows the protocol of the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE).

A response/knowledge rate of 88% of the class was attained.

Highlights & Key Findings

• 98% of the class attained their desired outcome of employment, graduate/professional education admission, entrepreneurship, military, or public service.
• 75% of the class are employed full-time, working as entrepreneurs within their own businesses, or serving in a military or a public service program. 
• 23% of the class is in graduate or professional schools.
• 2% are seeking employment in a desired field or admission to a graduate program, or have chosen to take a gap year.
• 89% percent of the class had been engaged in undergraduate experiential education via internship programs, clinicals, practica, study abroad, and/or within research programs.
• The top destinations for employment included northeastern Pennsylvania 35%; other cities of Pennsylvania, 41%; New York and New Jersey, 7%, with nearly 17% in other states and <1% working internationally, with most international graduates working in Panama.
• Graduates are attending professional and graduate schools primarily in Pennsylvania, 78%; followed by Washington DC and New York, and within varied states in the U.S.
• In relating their major degrees to relationship to positions of employment, 78% stated that their employment was very strongly or strongly related to their majors; 15% stated their positions were somewhat related to their majors; and 7% stated that their positions were not related to their majors.
