The Big Event is a single day of University-wide community service organized by the office of civic engagement and Student Government.
Our mission is to work together to unite, give back and foster growth and strengthen relationships among Wilkes Colonels and our neighbors. On a spring Saturday, our students, faculty, and staff dedicate their time to helping community partners throughout the Wyoming Valley.
We rake yards, paint fences, clean playgrounds, and much more. We work with local agencies to find volunteer sites.
