Dr. Lew's academic background is in topology and geometric group theory. He is currently
interested in exploring the use of electronic spreadsheets as a teaching tool in various
mathematics courses, including differential equations, multivariable calculus, numerical
analysis, and dynamical systems. Dr. Lew has presented his ideas at several national
and international conferences focusing on the teaching of undergraduate mathematics.
Dr. Lew is currently the coordinator the senior seminar for the mathematics program.
