Center for Health Sciences and Student Success

At Wilkes University, students receive solid grounding in science and engineering coursework as they complete their pre-professional baccalaureate degree.

The Center for Health Sciences and Student Success is a valuable resource. In addition to receiving support from knowledgeable academic advisors within a designated major, students have the opportunity to work with the Center for Health Sciences and Student Success to make sure their professional goals are met. We believe in a team-based approach at Wilkes University and as students make choices and meet challenges it is very important that we provide them with diverse perspectives so they can make well informed career decisions.

The Center for Health Sciences and Student Success aims to provide support for academic, career, and professional development to students. The Center offers resources that provide a positive learning environment and address the growing diversity of backgrounds, needs, challenges, and opportunities of our students so they can be successful leaders at Wilkes and beyond.

Participation in clubs and other extracurricular activities encourages students to network and learn about different topics to enhance their future career experiences. The purpose of the Health Sciences Pre-Professional Society is to not only provide awareness of the opportunities available in the health sciences field, but to also educate students on different volunteering opportunities, provide access to dissertations with experts within the health science community.
