At Wilkes University, students receive solid grounding in science and engineering coursework as they complete their pre-professional baccalaureate degree.
As a student within the College of Science and Engineering, the Center for Health Sciences and Student Success is a valuable resource. In addition to receiving support from knowledgeable academic advisors within a designated major, students have the opportunity to work with the Center for Health Sciences and Student Success to make sure their professional goals are met. We believe in a team-based approach at Wilkes University and as students make choices and meet challenges it is very important that we provide them with diverse perspectives so they can make well informed career decisions.
The Center for Health Sciences and Student Success aims to provide support for academic, career, and professional development to all students within the College of Science and Engineering at Wilkes University. The Center offers resources that provide a positive learning environment and address the growing diversity of backgrounds, needs, challenges, and opportunities of our students so they can be successful leaders at Wilkes and beyond.
Participation in clubs and other extracurricular activities encourages students to network and learn about different topics to enhance their future career experiences. Membership in the Pre-Professional Society of the College of Science and Engineering (PPS-CES) Constitution will provide students with professional development. The PPS-CSE will collaborate with Wilkes University students, personnel and local community organizations to provide programming and opportunities that will foster student success at Wilkes and prepare students for their future careers.
