What are the Prerequisites for a Google Certificate?
- No prior background or requirements are necessary to start! If you are already familiar with the course subject, you can skip to the graded assignments.
Who is eligible for a free Google Career Certificate at Wilkes University?
- Any current Wilkes University student or graduate from the last three years is eligible. Staff and faculty may also be eligible.
What Level of Commitment is Required?
- Google Career Certificates are flexible, self-paced and online skill-building experiences. Each program takes 3 to 6 months to complete with under 10 hours of study per week.

- The professional certificates are free for Wilkes University students and recent graduates.

How do I complete the courses?
- Certificates are on Coursera and are completely online - no in-person requirements. You can access your instructional videos, readings and assignments anytime and anywhere via Coursera.
Are Google Career Certificates for credit?
- Google Career Certificates are not for credit.
