Dr. Emma Qian Hao came to Wilkes University in August 2005. She holds a Master 's degree in business administration with a major in accounting from Washington University and a Ph.D. in economics from Southern Illinois University. Dr. Hao taught courses in micro- and macro-economics when she was a PhD student. Her research interests include earnings management, corporate governance and foreign direct investment. Prior to beginning her doctoral study in the U.S., she worked as an accountant in Beijing, China for two years.
