Wilkes University with his Pharm.D. in 2002. He is a licensed pharmacist in Pennsylvania and South Carolina and is a Board-Certified Ambulatory Care Pharmacotherapy specialist. He completed a residency in pharmacy practice with Palmetto Health Richland in Columbia, South Carolina and a specialty residency in family medicine with the Saint Louis College of Pharmacy in St. Louis, MO. Dr. Longyhore's areas of interest include information mastery, health literacy, and instructional design. He is an active member of the American College of Clinical Pharmacy (ACCP), serving as the faculty liaison to students in the School of Pharmacy. Dr. Longyhore is also the advisor for Phi Lambda Sigma (the Pharmacy Leadership Society) and the Wilkes University Pharmacy Student Recovery Program. His advanced practice experience is at St. Luke's Hospital & Health Network in Bethlehem, PA. He works with patients and resident physicians in the outpatient clinic to assess and overcome barriers to medication adherence. He provides medication education and consultation for difficult patients and participates in quality improvement initiatives for the clinic.
