United Nations Speaker's Series - Presents: Ms. Gordana Jerger, Deputy Director of the United Nations World Food Programme.
On Tuesday, November 19th Wilkes will host the first United Nations Lecture for the Fall semester.

Ms. Gordana Jerger is the Deputy Director of the United Nations World Food Programme's (WFP) Division for Inter-agency Partnerships. Prior to this assignment, she served as Associate Director (post-crisis transition) in the United Nations Development Operations Coordination Office (DOCO) and was WFP's Deputy Regional Director for Latin America and the Caribbean. Ms. Jerger joined WFP in 1986 as statistician and has held since then several senior managerial positions both at headquarters and in the field, including as WFP's Representative in Nicaragua and Chief of Programming, responsible for the overall allocation of WFP's operational resources and the management of the WFP's emergency Immediate Response Account.
