The Drs. Robert S. and Judith A. Gardner Educational Forum Series at Wilkes University will feature guest speaker Mollie Marti on Tuesday, Oct. 29, from 4:30-6 p.m. in Marts 214. She will lecture on the topic Walking with Justice: Servant Leadership Lessons from Judge Max Rosenn. The lecture is based on her book, Walking with Justice: Uncommon Lessons from One of Life’s Greatest Mentors. A book signing will follow the lecture.
Marti is an author, educator, professional speaker and former law clerk for Judge Max Rosenn. In addition to her latest book about Rosenn, Marti has authored numerous academic articles and another book, The 12 Factors of Business Success: Discover, Develop, and Leverage Your Strengths. She serves as CEO of the Community Resiliency Project, which aims to empower communities to grow resilient youth as part of a teen-suicide awareness movement. Her motivational speech appearances focus on the topics of business ethics, resiliency, servant leadership and community building.
In addition, Marti is a practicing psychologist and adjunct professor of psychology at the University of Iowa. She regularly delivers lectures at business practice seminars to international audiences and in 2009 launched the annual Make an Impact LIVE! philanthropic event in Chicago, which is attended by entrepreneurs and authors from around the globe. Marti is also the co-founding editor of the Best Life Design e-magazine and was recognized as one of the top 25 business coaches by The Entrepreneur Blog.
The Drs. Robert S. and Judith A. Gardner Educational Forum Series highlights current issues in education and features speakers from the educational and business community. All lectures are free and open to the public. Teachers can earn Act 48 credit for attending.
