Antero Cortes carded a round of 79 to lead the University of Scranton to a sweep of a tri-match with King’s College and Wilkes University on Tuesday afternoon at the Par 71 Glenmaura National Golf Club. The Royals finished with a team total of 325 strokes. King’s was next with a 331, while Wilkes finished third at 356.
Chuck Volpe and Sean Moroney contributed rounds of 81 for Scranton. Jeff Slivinski was next for the Royals with an 84.
King’s was led by Brian Rogish’s 81. Mike Kane and Sean Apanovich carded rounds of 83. J.C. Blewitt rounded out the top four for the Monarchs with an 84.
Leading the way for Wilkes was Adam Bachman who fired an 86. Ben Gerhart was next for the Colonels with an 87. Jamie Montville fashioned an 88, while both Matt Wagner and Carmen Winters finished with rounds of 95.
