Tuition & Aid

Tuition for graduate programs in education for the 2024-25 academic year is $571 per credit, or $1,713 per course. Deferment is available for employers who reimburse tuition and financial aid is available for those who qualify.

Careers & Outcomes

Students who earn a Master of Science in Education with a major in Instructional Media go on to achieve success in teaching or administrative positions in PK-12 environments.

Outside of school districts, graduates may also pursue research or instructional design positions in higher education, careers in educational technology or media companies, or working within government or nonprofit settings to reshape policies around instructional media.

Pennsylvania STEM Letter of Endorsement

The master's degree includes the 12-credit letter of endorsement in STEM. Add on to your degree, or enroll in this stand-alone program to help your students thrive as you develop your STEM instructional practice. Approved by the Pennsylvania Dept. of Education, the STEM letter of endorsement provides the tools teachers need to plan, design and incorporate STEM strategies into everyday learning. Upon successful completion, Pennsylvania educators can apply to add the STEM endorsement to their teaching certificate.
