Lawrence and Sally Cohen Science Center
The brand new 72,500-square-foot Cohen Science Center is a monument to research and innovation. The Institute for Energy & Environmental Research (IEER). The institute focuses on natural gas extraction derived from Marcellus shale, and will eventually broaden its' reach to include other energy sources, energy distribution, and consumption.
Dr. Paul A. Wender was recently awarded the American Chemical Society's prestigious Arthur C. Cope Award for his pioneering contributions to synthesis, photochemistry, organometallic chemistry, chemical biology, medicinal chemistry, and drug delivery.
