Join a Career Conversation with The Muse on Oct. 8

Figuring out what you want to do in your life and career can be incredibly daunting. Even if you've had your dream job in mind for years, choosing a career path is not always an easy or clear-cut decision. Navigating the job search process in the era of COVID-19 also poses new and unexpected challenges.

That’s why The Muse is introducing Career Conversations, a live virtual panel series to help job seekers explore different career options. Hosted by The Muse CEO Kathryn Minshew, each session will focus on a specific industry or area of expertise.

Our first session at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 8, will focus on what it’s like to work in financial services. You'll hear directly from a panel of associates from Deutsche Bank, Scotiabank, and Goldman Sachs as they dive into:

  • What a typical day is like in their current role
  • Why they chose a career in financial services and how they landed their first job
  • What a typical career growth path looks like from analyst to associate (and beyond)
  • What skills and traits are essential for someone to be successful in financial services
  • And more!

We'll also be saving 30 minutes at the end of the panel discussion for live Q&A. You can submit your questions in advance when you register to save your spot.

Can’t make it? Register anyway and we’ll send you the recording after the event.
