As we adapt to the temporary transitions and changes COVID-19 continues to bring,
and while we hear so much about keeping your distance, United Concordia is here, ready
to help and stay in touch.
At United Concordia, we continue to follow the guidance offered by the CDC, ADA and other health agencies. We recognize the importance of supporting the ADA’s recommendation on teledentistry, as we know that our members’ need for urgent dental care won’t stop, even during this challenging time in global health. In the last year, emergency dental care accounted for up to nearly 23% of dental services provided in some regions of the U.S., so to best support our members in need of urgent assistance, critical oral health issues can be addressed with a video or photograph assessment with their dentist. Teledentistry assessments are covered for United Concordia commercial members. Coverage levels are subject to plan terms and conditions.
