Build Your Online Teaching Skills and Earn a Badge
Are you teaching online, but maybe not familiar with best practices or how to manage
an online class? Or are you using D2L/LIVE to supplement your face-to-face class and
are interested in teaching fully online in the future?
The Office of Technology for Teaching and Learning (OTTL) is offering a three-week, fully online, asynchronous course, Facilitating Learning Online (FLO), to get you energized, educated and ready to teach your content online!
In this engaging course, you will experience online learning from the student’s perspective while becoming familiar with tried, tested and researched best practices in online learning and instruction.
The course load is two to three hours per week, depending on your past experience. Upon successful completion of the course, you will receive our OTTL FLO badge that can be displayed on D2L/LIVE, LinkedIn and other social sites, showcasing your newfound skills in online education!
