Captions, transcripts, alternative text, oh my! Accessibility requirements are plentiful and you might be wondering what, if anything, matters in the online world and what you need to pay attention to if you are putting any of your course materials online this fall. The answer is a lot!
But don’t worry. We’ll show you where to start so you don't get overwhelmed. This workshop will cover some of the most basic requirements for creating an accessible course, including how to add closed captioning to your Panopto videos and how to check and fix your course documents, syllabus, PowerPoints and overall D2L course for accessibility compliance.
