Ralston Parking Lot to Close at 4 p.m. on Sept. 13

Significant construction is ongoing in the Ralston Parking Lot to update the sports complex. We appreciate your continued patience as this work enters its final stages and additional parking spaces become open. Until then, the loss of parking spaces create unique problems in accommodating parking for well-attended sporting and special events such as Family Day and Homecoming.

To facilitate efficient parking and traffic flow in our parking lots, the University reserves the right to temporarily close all or part of any campus parking area for special events and/or maintenance. The football game this Saturday,  Sept. 14, coincides with Family Day.  The University Police Department is requesting that all students parking at the Ralston Field Lot relocate their cars to the UCOM Parking Garage on the main campus starting at 4 p.m. thisFriday, Sept. 13.

The Ralston Parking Lot will be closed and secured at 10 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 13. Vehicles left in the lot may be subject to towing relocation fees. The parking lot will reopen for game day operations on Saturday, Sept. 14.

Our Wilkes Colonels football team takes on Lebanon Valley at noon, quickly followed by women’s soccer versus Bard College at 4 p.m. Our Lady Colonels field hockey team goes head-to-head in competition against Alvernia at 7 p.m. It will be a busy day at the Ralston Sports Complex.

We strongly encourage the use of shuttle services to and from Ralston to allow for visitor parking.

All vehicles must be moved back to the Ralston Parking lot before 7:30 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 16, when classes resume.  We hope you have a safe and enjoyable weekend.
