- Healthy Eating Strategies – noon on Friday, Nov. 8, in the Marts Hall of Fame room
- Dance/Cardio Workout – noon on Friday, Nov. 15, and Friday, Nov. 22, in the Dorothy Dickson Darte Center lower level studio
- Mindfulness/Self-Care Workshop – 11:30 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 18, in the Henry Student Center Ballroom
What to expect?
Cardio/strength training – This continuation of October’s 40-minute classes features a combination of cardio and basic strength movements with modifications provided. You can plan to attend one, two or all three classes. Beginner to expert level welcome!
Heathy Eating Strategies – Nicole Pezzino, PharmD, BCACP, CDE, assistant professor and director of community outreach, and registered dietician Lyndi Wieand, RDN, LDN, will provide helpful strategies to maintain healthy eating habits and make better food choices during the upcoming party season.
Dance/Cardio – Led by Bridget Giunta, this fun, dance-inspired workout includes cardio and stretching. No experience necessary, just wear comfortable clothing and sneakers. Attend one or both sessions. Please contact Bridget in the President's Office at Bridget.email@example.com or ext. 4134 with questions.
Mindfulness/Self-Care workshop – Gene Lucas, assistant professor in graduate nursing, will provide an introduction to basic mindfulness principles and how it can affect perceptions of what is going on around us. Learn mindful breathing techniques and have a chance to ask questions about incorporating mindfulness into your daily life.
