Lunch & Learn – D2L Grades Tool
Are you interested in creating a robust gradebook for students’ assignments online? If so, please join OTTL for a D2L Deep Dive into the Grades Tool! We’ll show you how to create and organize grade categories and grade items, weighted grades, give online feedback to your students and export your gradebook to Excel.
This is the third in a series of D2L training events, each focusing on one tool in D2L. Each event will offer an optional badge, which is earned by attending the event and then demonstrating proficiency in the topics covered. This workshop will be held at noon on Tuesday, Oct. 29, in Breiseth 105 and includes a free lunch!
Academic Integrity in Online Exams
Do you want to have students take exams and quizzes in D2L, but you're worried about WHO is actually taking the exam? Or what they're doing during the exam? Join us at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 31, in Breiseth 105 to learn about two available products from Respondus: Lockdown Browser, which prevents students from opening other websites and applications while they take their assessments, and Respondus Monitor, which will require your students to show photo ID before beginning an exam and record them while they take it. You'll also see how these tools can be used in conjunction with settings and information in D2L to ensure academic integrity on your assessments.
Spots are limited, so SIGN UP TODAY for one or both workshops!
