Join Us for the Red Sand Project

The Psi Chi honor society, along with women's and gender studies, Wilkes Feminist Alliance, UNICEF club and It's on Us will host The Red Sand Project from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 12, meeting at the Karambelas Media and Communication Center and proceeding to Public Square.

The Red Sand Project is a way for individuals to help raise awareness of human trafficking. The red sand acts as a symbol of those who fall through the cracks of our consciousness and our social, economic and political system.

We will provide information about slavery and trafficking, along with five easy things you can do to make a difference. Together we will be partaking in action to make others aware of slavery in the U.S. and around the world. Tell all of your friends to join us in making a difference.
