International Friendship Program Seeks Faculty and Staff

The International Friendship Program is looking to pair 19 Panamanian students with local families to create lasting relationships. These students are a long way from home, and are hoping to meet new people and friends. They’re excited to share their culture, improve their English and learn more about American culture. To that end, the Office of International Engagement is looking to foster friendships and bonds in the local community. If you are interested in expanding your cultural horizons while also encouraging a driven and intelligent international student, then this program is for you.

To learn more about the International Friendship Program, please attend one of the two information sessions hosted by the Office of International Engagement. These are from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 23, and  2 to 3 p.m. on Wednesday, April 24, in UCOM 127.

Please contact Megan Tindell at international.engagement@ wilkes.edu for more information.
