Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry Hosts Guest Lecture

The Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry will host a lecture titled, "Lessons Learned from Pterin-Dithiolene Models of the Molybdenum Cofactor: Why Nature Did Not Use a Methyl Group," presented by Professor Sharon Burgmayer of Bryn Mawr College, at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 21, in Cohen 102.

Burgmayer is the Dean of Graduate Studies and the W. Alton Jones Professor of Chemistry. Her areas of interest are are inorganic and bioinorganic chemistry.
