You're Invited to an Everyday Mindfulness Workshop

Mindfulness is a topic that is frequently discussed in the wellness world these days, but what does it really mean and how do we begin to be more mindful?

In the next workshop from the Wellness Committee, Dr. Teresa Pitcher and Dr. Eugene Lucas will present Everyday Mindfulness, an introduction to mindfulness and how to begin to practice it.

This talk will explore the definition, history and benefits of mindfulness, as well as providing some strategies and tips that you can implement right away to start being more mindful.

Research suggests that employing mindfulness strategies has a host of benefits. Practicing mindfulness helps us gain clarity, become more productive, manage stress and let go of the distractions around us that impede our ability to focus and be productive. It helps us have an overall improved sense of well-being.

Please join us for this program on:

Thursday, May 2
Noon to 1 p.m.
Marts Center Hall of Fame, Room 214

We hope to see you there!
