Family Business Alliance Hosts Sexual Harassment Awareness Presentation

A new ABC News-Washington Post poll found that 75 percent of Americans call workplace sexual harassment a problem, while 64 percent deem it a serious problem—that’s an increase of 11 and 17 percentage points, respectively, since the last similar poll in 2011. But despite wider awareness about sexual harassment in the workplace, it remains prevalent—to an alarming degree (Fortune Magazine, 2017).

The Family Business Alliance will host "Sexual Harassment Awareness: Myths and Reality" from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 13, in the Henry Student Center Miller Room.

James P. Valentine, partner at Rosenn Jenkins & Greenwald LLP, and Kimberly Wylam, president and managing partner at Baker Tilly, Vantagen, will discuss the timely topic of sexual harassment.

The event is free of charge. Please register online and contact Sue Reilly of the Family Business Alliance at susan.reilly@wilkes.edu or ext. 2120 with any questions.
