Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences to Host Seminar
Please join us at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 13, in Breiseth 212 for a seminar hosted
by the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences.
Title: Characterization of N-glycan moieties in plasma IgY from Dumetella carolinesis using Ion-Trap Mass Spectrometry
About the presenter:Kate A. Stumpo received her B.S. in chemistry from the University of Northern Iowa in 2003 and her Ph.D. in analytical chemistry from Texas A&M University in 2008. Her dissertation with Dr. David Russell focused on alterative matrices for laser desorption ionization mass spectrometry. Her post-doctoral work was completed with Dr. Vernon Reinhold at the University of New Hampshire , where she began investigations into characterizing N-linked glycans using ion trap mass spectrometry. She is currently an assistant professor at the University of Scranton.
