It's Not Too Late to Register for the Glow Run

Prepare to "Glow Through the Darkness!" in the Fifth Annual Glow Run 5k and Celebration of Life on Friday, April 13. The event is organized by the Office Residence Life and all proceeds go to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.

Registration/Check-In will begin at 7 p.m. in the McHale Athletic Center in UCOM and the race will kick off at 8:30 p.m.

There will also be glow gear at check-in to get you ready for the 5K! On the course, glow paint stations will be set up to splatter you with paint while you run/walk if you choose. Following the 5K run/walk, please join us on the Fenner Quad (Greenway) for a Celebration of Life!

NEW THIS YEAR: We will have AFSP, Luzerne County Mental Health and Developmental Services, and the Family Service Association of Wyoming Valley present before the race with resources available. Additionally, a LIVE BAND is scheduled to perform at the Celebration of Life following the 5K!

The online registration can be found HERE. The registration cost is only $5 for undergraduate students and $10 for graduate students and members of the community. Registration includes a free t-shirt!

It is NOT too late to register for the Glow Run! There are still a lot of extra shirts waiting to be claimed, so sign up ASAP to guarantee yours today!

If you are not participating, but wish to volunteer to help put on the event, we need all the help we can get. Please sign up using this volunteer sign-up link if you are willing to volunteer your time or need community service hours!

Thank you for supporting suicide research, prevention and awareness in the NEPA community. We can't wait to see you on April 13!

Please direct all questions to glowrun@wilkes.edu.
