Hear about Ocean Sciences Pecha Kucha Style
Join the EES 230 - Ocean Sciences class at Bart & Urby’s on Thursday, Dec. 7 at 5 p.m. as they present their Pecha Kucha-style presentations on topics such as
coral reefs, sea turtles, hydrothermal vents, and ocean circulation. This public presentation
is part of an effort to teach young scientists techniques in science communication
and public engagement. Pecha Kucha talks are a maximum of 6:40 second talks, with 20 slides lasting no more than 20 seconds each. This talk format
is designed so presenters can distill their talk to the most important details, leaving
time for questions and communication.
