Join Zebra Communications in an Eggs-traordinary Mission

Zebra Communications, in conjunction with Children’s Miracle Network at Geisinger, invites the Wilkes community, their families and friends to join us in an Eggs-traordinary Mission!

Zebra Communications, the student-run public relations agency at Wilkes, will host a fundraiser on
Saturday, April 1 to benefit Children’s Miracle Network at Geisinger. The event will be held from noon to 3 p.m. at Wilkes University’s UCOM, located at 169 S. Main Street, Wilkes-Barre and will conclude with the main event, an egg hunt, on the University’s Greenway. Admission is free and open to the public with food, snacks, and beverages provided. Prior to the egg hunt, Bunny Hop sack races will take place and face painting will be available for children. In addition, families will be encouraged to pair up into teams of two and participate in a You Crack Me Up egg toss competition.

Donations are welcome prior to the event and at the event with all proceeds going directly to Children’s Miracle Network to benefit Geisinger’s Janet Weis Children’s Hospital in Danville. Please contact Meghan Burns at
meghan.burns@wilkes.edu if you wish to make a donation in advance.

Children’s Miracle Network at Geisinger raises funds to provide equipment, programs, and services for children at Geisinger’s Janet Weis Children’s Hospital in Danville. In addition, the funds go to provide pediatric services throughout the Geisinger Health System. Some recent items funded by Children’s Miracle Network include cardiovascular ultrasound equipment, ventilators for the Neonatal Intensive Care Units, language interpretation equipment, and drug and alcohol education programs in the area.
