Tasha Cain to Speak at U.N. Lecture Series

Tasha Cain will visit campus on Thursday, March 23 as part of the U.N. Lecture Series.

Cain has been a Foreign Service Officer with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Belize for seven years. She studied Intercultural Service Leadership and Management at the SIT Graduate Institute in Brattleboro, Vermont and International Relations at Xavier University in Cincinnati, Ohio. She is currently posted as the First Secretary at the Permanent Mission of Belize to the United Nations where she covers issues dealing with Disarmament and International Security, Economic and Development Issues as well as Decolonization Issues.

In her previous post with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Belize, she was the US, Canada and Australia Desk Officer. She also covered the multilateral desks of the United Nations (UN), Organization of American States (OAS) and the Caribbean Community (CARICOM).

Cain will speak on Thursday, March 23 at 4 p.m. in the Miller Room of the Henry Student Center. The event is free and open to the public.
