Print Shop Welcomes Online Job Ticketing
Over the summer, the Print Shop is transitioning to an online system for submitting
print orders, called Xerox Job Ticketing (XJT).
XJT allows you to upload and save your documents for faster order submission in the future, receive reports on department usage of the Print Shop, select your desired paper type and finishes, and select the date and time you would like the job to be finished. Utilizing the XJT system for all print orders allows the Print Shop to more efficiently manage requests, assist users in selecting the best materials for their orders, track department usage, and improve inventory by stocking the products most desired and used on campus.
XJT will require each job submission to enter a Fund/Org/Account/Program (FOAP); however, department budgets are not being charged for services in FY18. The FOAP will be used to track departmental usage, both in frequency and type of printed materials.
All faculty and staff who are interested in learning more and have not already received information or attended a training session are invited to attend a live webinar session hosted by Xerox on the usage of XJT. The dates/times for the trainings are:
- Tuesday, July 11 at 2:30 p.m.
- Wednesday, July 12 at 10:30 a.m.
- Thursday, July 13 at 1 p.m.
If you would like to attend any of these sessions, please contact Business Operations
for instructions to access the webinar. If you are unable to attend any of these sessions,
there will be another webinar hosted at the end of August/early September. Additionally,
a .pdf user guide and video tutorial are available by accessing the XJT link. XJT
will be available to the Wilkes campus via a single sign-on link located on the Print Shop website at https://xerox.wilkes.edu/
