Don't Miss "You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown"

Wilkes University Theatre presents the musical You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown, with music and lyrics by Clark Gesner, based on the Charles Schulz comic strip. Performances are Feb. 17, 18, 24 and 25 at 8 p.m. and Feb. 19 and 26 at 2 p.m. at the Dorothy Dickson Darte Center for the Performing Arts (239 S. River St., Wilkes-Barre).

This updated version of the 1967 classic is directed by assistant professor of theatre Jon Liebetrau, with musical direction from Ken McGraw, music theater director, and choreography by faculty of practice Lynne Mariani. The Peanuts gang – Charlie, his sister Sally, Lucy, Schroeder, Linus and, of course, his best pal Snoopy – sing and dance their philosophy of life to remind us that it’s the little moments that make all the difference.

General admission is $10, $5 for students and seniors, and free for all Wilkes students, faculty, and staff with ID. For more information, call the box office at 570-408-4540.
