Celebrate a Community of Health

Celebrate a Community of Health with Speakers Dr. Ference and Dr. Grossman.

On March 15, 2017, the Enactus Chapter at Wilkes University will host a lecture focused on promoting health within our community. Doctor Grossman, a well-known dentist, and Dr. Ference, a clinical pharmacist, will be speaking at the lecture to educate and enhance the livelihood and well-being of our society on and off campus with their medical expertise. Both professionals volunteer their time and skill sets at Volunteers in Medicine. Volunteers in Medicine is a free non-profit clinic for those individuals that do not have health insurance.

The lecture will take place from 5:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. and will have light refreshments for your convenience. Beforehand, Wilkes University's very own student pharmacists will be hosting a brown bag event from 4:15 p.m. -  5:15 p.m. The brown bag event is a perfect opportunity to be counseled on any medication that you take or have questions about. So, grab your bag and fill it with those medications you have questions about in order to be one-on-one counseled! Hope to see you at the lecture.
