Host Families Needed for the Fresh Air Fund

Make this a summer to remember!  Open your heart and home to a Fresh Air child.

The Fresh Air Fund, an independent, not-for- profit agency, has provided free summer experiences to more than 1.8 million New York City children from under-served communities since 1877.

Children come to experience a one-week cultural exchange and fun new experiences with your family.

Hosts are needed in our area!
  • You select the age (from 7 to 12) and gender of the child you invite.
  • Choose one of several one-week trips in July & August.
  • Buses arrive at locations at Covington Park (Moscow) and surrounding areas.
  • FAF covers all costs for transportation and insurance.
  • Hosts can be singles, couples or families with children.
  • Local support and group activities make it EXTRA FUN!
Is there room for one more on your picnic blanket? As part of our Host Family program, hosting a child is a simple as giving them a bed, packing an extra PB&J, running through the sprinkler, toasting marshmallows, or taking a walk with the dog. When the sky is clear, you’ll count shooting stars and fireflies. It’s not about spending money; it’s about sharing new experiences and making memories together.

Celebrate summer differently this year. Take a Fresh Air child along for the ride!
