“The Geisinger School of Medicine Class of 2022 invites other students to a presentation on interprofessional education on April 10 from 6-9pm”
Subject: Building a Better Future for Healthcare with TeamSTEPPS: Seeking the Quadruple Aim
Please join the Class of 2022 and the leaders of the Interprofessional Education Curriculum on April 10, 2019 from 6 – 8 p.m. in Medical Sciences Building room 2045 for a presentation on TeamSTEPPS from Geisinger’s own master trainer, Rebecca Stoudt DNP, PhD, CRNA. TeamSTEPPS is a program developed by the Department of Health and Human Services to improve team communication and patient safety. This program is used by Geisinger and many other medical schools to promote interprofessionalism, communication on a healthcare team and patient safety.
Please join us at this event to learn more about enhancing performance and communication on healthcare teams and how you can become a leader in the TeamSTEPPS program before even entering the clinical space. All students and faculty are welcome. Food will be provided.
