Title: Characterization of N-glycan moieties in plasma IgY from Dumetella carolinesis using Ion-Trap Mass Spectrometry
Bio: Kate received her B.S. in Chemistry from the University of Northern Iowa in 2003 and her Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry from Texas A&M University in 2008. Her dissertation with Dr. David Russell focused on alterative matrices for laser desorption ionization mass spectrometry. Her post-doctoral work was completed at the University of New Hampshire with Dr. Vernon Reinhold, where she began investigations into characterizing N-linked glycans using ion trap mass spectrometry. She is currently an Assistant Professor at the University of Scranton.
