Going to Midyear? Interested in the Public Health Service? Read this!

The Cheyenne River Health Center (or CRHC, or Eagle Butte IHS) is excited to host a pilot IHS recruitment event whose primary purpose is to give students one more chance to learn about IHS opportunities for both residency and non-residency programs.

Why this event may benefit you:

- All IHS RPDs and Residents have been invited to attend this event.
o Maybe you forgot to ask a question during the frenzy of the showcase, or maybe you thought up of other follow-up questions after-the-fact. Either way, encourage the person you may want to speak with further to attend the event, and meet up with him/her at this event!

- A collection of non-Residency IHS site brochures and/or promotional material from across the nation have been prepared for you to look over.
o It's always better to collect information from a single location, just in case, rather than scramble to put information together in the future (when you will likely be even shorter on time)!

- Lastly, multiple practicing IHS pharmacists have provided brief narratives elaborating on their experiences in IHS so far. Since I will be in attendance I will also be available to share my story and what ultimately led me to the unique opportunities I have experienced so far at a non-Residency IHS site. You are welcome to ask me any questions you would like.
o "Tremendous opportunity" is a phrase that readily comes to mind!
