High School Juniors, Seniors Can “Discover Pharmacy” at Wilkes University During Two-Day Camp, August 13-14

Wilkes University’s Nesbitt School of Pharmacy will provide high school juniors and seniors with a prescription for a successful career during the Discover Pharmacy Day Camp this summer. The two-day camp begins Aug. 13 at 8:30 a.m. and concludes Aug.14 at 5 p.m. Overnight accommodations are not available. The fee is $50 per student. Deadline to apply is Aug. 1.

  • Training to use life-saving naloxone
  • Creating aromatherapy-infused lip balm
  • Using stress management techniques
  • Making bath bombs
  • Using technology to manage diabetes
  • Getting out of a pharmacy escape room
  • Tips and tricks for surviving college and the pharmacy application process

Students will also learn how to prepare for and apply to the Nesbitt School of Pharmacy, get a glimpse at life as a student pharmacist at Wilkes and hear about the variety of rewarding career paths available to pharmacists.
