Wilkes University Flute Ensemble Presents “Transformed: Music Arranged for Multiple Flutes” Concert on April 22

The Wilkes University Flute Ensemble will present the concert “Transformed: Music Arranged for Multiple Flutes.” The performance is April 22 at 7:30 p.m. on the main stage of the Dorothy Dickson Darte Center for the Performing Arts at Wilkes University. Doors open at 6:45 p.m. Admission is free and the concert is open to the public.

The concert will feature melodies of Mozart, Nielsen, Sousa, Vivaldi and Williams with performances for solo flute, solo contrabass flute, and flute duets. The concert is directed by Alicia “Lish” Lindsey, acting principal flutist of the Pottstown Symphony Orchestra. Lindsey is an adjunct flute professor and flute ensemble director at Wilkes.
