Wilkes Professor Morgan Clevenger Hosts Book Signing at Barnes & Noble on May 4
Morgan Clevenger, assistant professor of entrepreneurship at Wilkes University’s Jay S. Sidhu School of Business & Leadership, will sign copies of his book, Toward Entrepreneurial Community Development: Leaping Cultural and Leadership Boundaries on May 4. The event will be at Barnes & Noble on Public Square, 75 S. Main St., on May 4 from 2 to 4 p.m.
The book, published by Routledge, explores developing entrepreneurial communities and goes beyond theories of the firm to demonstrate how local and regional society contributes in important ways to the vitality of entrepreneurs. Some of Clevenger’s research has examined entrepreneurship in northeast Pennsylvania.
Clevenger has published other books including The Practitioner: An Online Publication of the Family Firm Institute. He won the 2016 CASE Research Award, given to promising research works in progress on alumni relations, philanthropy and integrated educational advancement. He received the award for Outstanding Research in Integrated Educational Advancement for Corporate Citizenship in American Higher Education, an expansion of his research for his doctoral dissertation.
