Wilkes University in Arizona Entrepreneurial Experience Competition Announces Winners
Wilkes University in Arizona held the second annual Wilkes University Entrepreneurial Experience Competition on April 24 in Mesa. Teams of Wilkes students presented plans for starting their own businesses in the competition.
The winning team included Sam Farnsworth, Brandon Curnow and Josh Gundle. They presented a business plan for a monthly subscription box service called SinCrate, which would deliver cigars, coffee and chocolate products to customers’ homes. The team won a $300 scholarship.
The event was judged by Eileen Kane of Realtime STEAM, Pamela Slim of K’é and Anthony L. Liuzzo, business professor at Wilkes University in Arizona.
